This is a clip of a longer video where I share all the raw emotions around getting an Aspergers (technically PDD-NOS) diagnosis in my 40's. For so many of us the immediate reaction is a huge sense of relief. Getting validation and an explanation for so many of the things I had struggled with lifted a huge weight from me and allowed me to feel a kind of self love I hadn't felt before.

*at some points in the video I refer to and compare myself to "normal" people this was a poor choice of wording on my part what i should have been saying is "neurotypical" or "those free from anxiety etc" there really is no such thing as normal and none of us should strive to achieve it xx
